Winter Escapades

At Worlds Apart winter escapes are not just about leaving behind our cold winter and heading for the tropics or the traditional crowded ski resorts of Europe – but to provide the many other travel options that our winters have to offer.

From husky sledging to snow shoe walks – and from igloos to ice hotels there are plenty of winter activities to choose from. Whilst some such as snow mobiling require little no experience– others such as ice climbing or cross country skiing demand the acquisition of skills and a fairly high level of fitness. Activities can be combined or there are opportuties for trips that focus on just one activity. Whether it’s a strenuous winter ascent of Mount Toubkal complete with ice axe and crampons - or a cosy weekend in a Lapland log cabin there are choices to satisfy all tastes in winter escapes.
